Russian illustrator, game developer and art-director of Ice-Pick Lodge Studio
PERSONAL INFORMATION
Meethos is rather anonymous person, but there's some information about him from his LiveJournal blog
His real name is unknown and there is no any information about his biography.
He is obviously a genderqueer. His biological sex is female, but his fans speak about him as a male, because it's his own self-determination.
There's a hypothesis that he has some actor's degree, because he have been taking part in a couple of performances. Another hypothesis says that he could have any musical vocation, because he plays a violin skillfully. He's also a semi-professional art-fencer and roleplayer.
Such anonymity makes his artworks independent of his personality, so his audience respects him just because of his brilliant talent and unique style.
DRAWING STYLE
Meethos represents a unique mixture of Mucha-like Art Nouveau and gothic styles.
Meethos is mostly known among internet users for his wonderful illustrations for "The Gray House" ("Дом, в котором..." in Russian). His arts with ethnic decorative elements and bright colors conveys the exact atmosphere of this book.
He has also designed a wide range of board games.

GAME DEVELOPMENT
Meethos has been an art-director of Ice-Pick Lodge Studio since its foundation in 2002.
Ice-Pick Lodge is not a game development studio at all. Firstly, it's an association of independent artists, screenwriters and programmers who consider a videogame as a piece of art. Their products are inherently uncommercial.
